I’m not going to post a load of pictures on DM’s lower bass box as it’s a simple 300 wide x 600 tall x 450 mm deep box of 18 mm plywood

The only new thing I go up to was to use my new biscuit joiner for the first time and was very happy how easy it was to use. Biscuits gave me enough slack to slot all panels together while glueing up. Also just bought a load of aluminum sash clamps which made clamping up very easy.

I’ve added a 50 mm diameter x 150 mm long port to tune box to approx’ 24 Hz

One horizontal shelf brace and as I had some off cuts I used them as a bit of extra vertical and cross bracing.

Oh - also added a 18 mm layer of MDF internally to the front panel to stiffen it up.

First loose-fit of fabricated bass box with original CAOW1’s. Currently bass box has no speaker connection/wiring. Crossovers need removing from top box and new crossovers need fabricating to DM’s design - parts in mail
