Here’s the Small Thors veneered in Sliced Pacific Maple paper backed veneer. Thanks goes to Doug for acting as my off-sider for the morning to do the side-front-side wrap around, in one piece.

They look very light after sanding with the orbital sander and 400 grade sand paper. They’ll darken up quite a bit when I polyurethane them.

So here’s my babies, with three coats of polyurethane. First coat sanded with 380 grade sandpaper, second with 600 grade wet & dry and final coat rubbed down with 000 wire wool.
